William Ejalu is an international development strategist, humanitarian leader, lawyer and political scientist with extensive expertise in public international law, humanitarian diplomacy, governance and institutional transformation.

With decades of experience working in complex international environments, including leadership roles with UNHCR, he brings a unique perspective to the intersection of humanitarian action, development, public policy and strategic leadership.

As Founder and CEO of Empathia Consultancy, William is committed to advancing innovative, people-centred and sustainable solutions that connect policy with practice, strengthen institutions, empower communities and translate development ambitions into meaningful impact.

A strategic thinker and advocate for African-led solutions to global and regional challenges, he believes that lasting transformation requires bold ideas, effective partnerships and the courage to rethink established approaches.

Beyond his professional pursuits, William pursues diverse interests, including cross-cultural dialogue, innovation in development and the exploration of creative solutions to global issues.

Daniel Ejalu is a technology and project management consultant with more than 15 years of experience. He holds an MBA from Heriot-Watt University (Edinburgh Business School) and a BSc in Computer Science from Makerere University. He is PMP and PRINCE2 certified and holds several certifications in AI programme management.

For over a decade, Daniel has provided project management consultancy to MTN across Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia and Eswatini. He specialises in BSS (Business Support Systems) transformation and AI-driven projects, and he leads programmes from start to finish in large, multi-vendor environments.

Daniel also has deep experience in the financial sector. He has delivered secure infrastructure, core banking and fraud-prevention solutions for clients including the Uganda Bankers Association, KCB Bank and FSD Uganda. His public sector work includes projects for the National Social Security Fund and the Office of the Auditor General.

Daniel is also an entrepreneur. He has built platforms that help people in the diaspora send money home and invest in real estate in Uganda.

At Empathia, Daniel leads on digital solutions, AI and project delivery. He helps partners design and run programmes that improve access to markets, skills and finance for SMEs and displacement-affected communities.
